How to Tie the One Up Bow

We are continuing our 'how to tie' necktie series with the 'One Up Bow'. This tie option is great with our more structured 'Grand Slammers' necktie as well as our 100% silk neckties. You can pull the loop short to stand up more straight or pull it longer to hang.
Check out the steps below to give her a try!
Here is a full preview of the steps and below are the steps you can follow individually.
Step 1: Start with the necktie resting on the back of your neck and the ends laying with one tail slightly shorter than the other.
Step 2: Start by crossing the tails
Step 3: Bring one tail through the opening above the criss cross
Step 4: Pull tail through and place them on top of each other
Step 5: Pull to tighten close to neck with the top piece resting on top of the bottom.
Step 6: Create loop with the top tail
Step 7: Wrap the looped tail with the other tail
Step 8: Continue wrapping around the backside of the loop
Step 9: Pull this second tail through the center knot, creating a loop at the top
Step 10: Hold this second loop in place and start to pull the tail of the other loop downward
Step 11: Keep pulling the tail until the knot has tightened at the top, adjust the one loop to make it shorter or longer.
Step 12: Voila! The one up bow
